This Monday June 13th ended up being a busy day for OVFC. Starting at 8:10am, Rescue 49, Tanker 49, and Special Service 94 responded to a dwelling fire. Once on scene Chief 49 witnessed the porch, roof of the porch, and floor on fire. Rescue 49 crew were able to make a quick response and stop, preventing the fire from spreading into the home. Station 23 Dublin, 24 Plumbsteadville, 26 Perkasie, 40 Springtown, 47 Upper Black eddy, 48 Delaware Valley, 59 Silverdale, and Medic 142 assisted in the call. Chief 49 would like to thank all of our mutual aid for all the help this morning!
At 4:30pm Engine 94 and Rescue 49 responded to a QRS call with Medic 124.
At 5:20 pm Rescue 49 and Engine 94 responded to Station 24 Plumbsteadville's call for an auto extrication. Rescue 49 arrived to assist Medic 142 in packaging the patient to transport to Temple Med Flight One. Rescue 49 stayed on scene to assist Engine 24.
