At approximately 10:08 Rescue Box 49-67 was dispatched for a single vehicle accident on Rt 412 north of the Palisades High School.  Crews arrived on scene to find the driver conscious and alert but heavily entan gled in the dash of the vehicle.  Rescue 49, backed up by Ladder 49, went in service upon arrival removing the door and roof.  Additional room for patient removal was accomplished by pulling the steering column.  The driver was extricated within 20 minutes and transported for medical care by Medic 142.  Rescue 42 and Engine 42, both from Riegelsville, also assisted on the call.
